ABOUT LITERARY CLUB
The Literary Club is one of the many clubs initiated by NBKRIST as a part of improving extracurricular and co-curricular activities among its students. Literary club shapes the inner self, nurtures the creative thirst and sculpts the raw potential of young ignited minds. This club is committed to tap the effective communication talent among the students. The club is a great way to participate in extracurricular activities, gain leadership experiences, meet new friends, and share new ideas.
OBJECTIVE OF THE CLUB
The club aims to foster a love for language, enhancing Leadership skills and provide an avenue for self-expression beyond the college curriculum. The Literary Club functions to attain the following objectives
To encourage the students to improve skills for expression
To enhance their thought and speech through group discussions and interactive sessions
To develop their organizing skills for conducting academic, social, cultural, events.
Members
120 students are enrolled in the Literary Club in the 2017-18. Thus it can be plainly seen that there is great potential for extracurricular activity as well as the founding of the Club was the outcome of an effort to bring these students together outside of regular study time.
Executive Committee
According to the statutes, the executive committee (i.e. the president and vice-presidents along with body members) are elected in the beginning of the academic year for a period of one year.

The Literary Club activities are usually conducted every Wednesday between 5.30 – 7.00 PM. It organized several activities in the past academic year. It conducted the following activities.
