The department of CSE was established in 1991 with an intake of 30 students in the UG Programme.Right from its inception it is continuously striving to impart quality education and competitive spirit among students for academic excellence. The present intake in B.Tech (CSE)is 240. The CSE department also offer CSE(AI&ML) and CSE (DS).

The aim of the department is to provide high-quality education along with training in the state-of-the-art technologies.The department emphasizes on all the important aspects of computers and takes initiative to improve the soft skills, analytical capabilities and verbal communication of the students so that they can face the competition in the competeting world.
